coco art
Craving coconut juice and meat has provided my mad artist kids with a cool 3D surface to paint. Awesome multi-step project of scraping off the fibers, painting each side, then re-attaching the halves into a whole, sometimes with a hidden treasure inside (hopefully not the house key!), with a grand finale where the nut is broken open with a hammer. Wish I could take credit for the creative concept & end result, but this one was fully kid-driven.
