Such a treat for us to have friends in the same port... I love the sailing community and the ability to reconnect with people in new places. The best thing about sailing is running into old friends in new ports.

It's been 5 years since we were in the same port with Paul Stratfold, the captain of Gizmo. Back then Tormentina was 5, Raivo 3, and Pearl was a newborn. We were nighbors at the Viaduct Basin in Auckland, New Zealand.

Tormentina was super excited to see Paul and his girlfriend Shiralee Fitzgerald again. Even more exciting was our whole crew getting invited to take a day sail together from St. George's harbour to St. David's.
