forest house

On Navarino Island, the kids were fascinated by Yaghan culture and always wondered what it would be like to live in a hut. So they built a make-shift shelter in the forest just above the inlet of the Micalvi, pretending it was their home. Raivo always wanted to find Guanaco skins to wrap around himself like the indigenous, but no such luck!  Many wonderful hours were spent in these sub-polar forests, playing, making imaginary meals, and having real picnics.

  1. Loving sibblings, wild lives, happy childhood. - Last weekend I met my brothers and sisters and others of the Graf-family on occasion of my 60th birthday. Talked much about our childhood and youth. How will your kids live in 6 decades? Best to you 6, and all! Georg
