The southernmost yacht club in the world is the Club Naval de Yates Micalvi. The Micalvi is a Chilean Navy ship that is grounded in Seno Lauto Harbour, just off the Beagle Channel in Puerto Williams. The ship serves as a pontoon for a flotilla of boats, with bar/restaurant/lounge/showers. The seno is very well protected and now serves as a strategic stopping point for expeditions to Cape Horn, Antarctica, and the Falkland Islands.
